We all say the choice is essential in training, but what do we really mean by that? What does it mean for our dog, cat, or horse?
This course will introduce the concept of choice to you and your animal. We will focus on the scientific approach to the idea but also practical application throughout our work with animals.
Have you considered your dog fragile, delicate, shy, quick to stuck, or quit the work? Do you struggle with your dog’s motivation? He is not the working type? Doesn’t have enough drive? This course is just for you! We will unpack all the labels, operationalize, and change the environment to influence your learner’s behavior. For six weeks of online learning, we will add choice behaviors to start a training session and learn how to monitor it throughout our work.
Behavioral health is a crucial aspect of the life of our animals: the ability to control the environment, the outcomes of our behaviors. We behave to get the result in our world. Can you imagine a life without that possibility? This course focuses on teaching this skill to our animals. We will build a clear communication between you and your animals. Empowering your dog by adding consent behaviors to his repertoire. We will learn to make observations, take data, analyze our training session based on that data and adjust our learning process to help our learner.
During this course, we will focus on:

Reviews for this course
This course was brilliant for my anxious dog, she is much more into training now and way bolder than she was.
Not to my surprise, another awesome course by Agnieszka!
It's such a special compilation of easy to understand and insightful advice on how to improve your training and build a conversation with your dog unlike anything I've seen anywhere else. Certainly not one to finish in 6 weeks, but a lifetime investment for anyone who wants to train their dog in different sports or other activities. Especially important and helpful for dogs that aren't already very eager and confident in training and great to build trust and clarity. A big part of the course focusses on building play and active behaviours, and if your dog (like mine) isn't one to naturally offer those reliably, I'd highly recommend a premium spot for extra support and ideas on how to recognise and develop those behaviours further.
Good course
LET ME WANT IT is the right mixture of theory, practical application and exercises. Agnieszka was so patient with me, she supported and answered all my questions and helped me understand the concept of Motivating Operations more and more (what an amazing and interesting subject). But the real bonus is when you see a change in your dog from an insecure leash-reactive dog to a curious and more relaxed learner. And we didn't even work on feeling more secure or leash-walking. The work we did in ATTENTION PLEASE and LET ME WANT IT bleeds over into the "issues" Kessy had and has and the slowly fade away.
I am so grateful for this place and for it's instructors and their compassion for animals, their human handlers, science and teaching. For me it is the right balance between theory and exercises. Thank you so much.
