FAQ
Do you have any questions or need clarification? Check out our list of frequently asked questions for quick answers and clarity.
When is Premium available, and what does it include?
Premium is available only when the course page and checkout explicitly offer it. When offered, Premium adds instructor interaction during a defined teaching window. The course page states the dates, capacity, video limits, response schedule, materials-access period, and price.
The feedback window and the materials-access period are separate. If a page offers only Auditor or self-study access, individual instructor feedback is not included.
What does Auditor/self-study include?
Auditor or self-study access includes the written lessons, prerecorded demonstrations, and downloads listed on the course page. Individual homework review or instructor feedback is not included unless the page expressly states otherwise.
Access, community, and certificate terms are shown for that product. Current courses normally include one year of access; legacy purchases retain the terms promised when purchased.
Are the courses live or asynchronous?
Course lessons are asynchronous: written lessons and prerecorded examples, with no scheduled live class unless the course page says otherwise. Premium feedback, when offered, takes place during the stated cohort window.
When will I have access to the course materials?
The course page and checkout state when access begins. Some self-study products open immediately; scheduled courses may release lessons by week from the listed start date.
Can I learn at my own convenience?
Yes. You can study asynchronous lessons at times that suit you. If you purchase a Premium edition, homework and instructor feedback are available only during the dates and schedule stated on that course page.
How much time per day will the course require for learning?
The amount of time required for daily learning can vary depending on factors such as the course content, your individual learning style, and personal commitments. Some courses may have a suggested time commitment mentioned in the course description, but ultimately, the pace of learning is flexible and can be adjusted to fit your schedule. We encourage you to allocate sufficient time each day to engage with the course material and complete any assigned tasks or exercises at a pace that works best for you.
When does a course start?
Start arrangements vary. A self-study course may open immediately, while a scheduled course shows its exact start date. Use the current course page and checkout rather than a generic monthly date.
What payment options are available?
We offer the following payment options for your convenience:
- Stripe
- Google Pay
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
What format are the lessons in? Video? Text?
Lessons are primarily written, supported by prerecorded video demonstrations and any downloads listed on the page. Premium assignments and instructor feedback are included only when the course page and checkout explicitly offer a Premium edition.
How long will I have access to the course?
Access is not automatically lifetime. The exact materials-access period appears on the product page, checkout, and confirmation. Current courses normally include one year of access. Legacy purchases retain the terms promised when purchased.
I have no experience in training, will I be able to handle the course?
Absolutely! We offer courses tailored for individuals at all levels, including those who are new to training. Whether you are a professional animal trainer or someone who has just welcomed their first animal, our courses are designed to accommodate learners of various experience levels. You will receive the necessary guidance and support throughout the course to help you successfully navigate the training material.
Until when can I enroll in the course?
The registration window is shown on the current course page. Self-study products may remain open, while scheduled cohorts have a stated closing date. If a course is closed or waitlisted, checkout will not show an active purchase option.
Will I receive a certificate upon completing the course?
Yes, you will receive a certificate upon completing the course.
Can I work with more than one animal?
In most cases, our courses are designed for one team consisting of a handler and one animal. Exceptions, if any, will be clearly stated in the course description.
Can I work with an animal other than a dog?
Absolutely! We welcome all animals from different species to our courses. If, however, you would like to make sure or ask additional questions, write to us at [email protected].
How many Premium participants are allowed in each course?
Premium capacity is set per course and appears only when that edition is available. Check the current course page for the participant limit and remaining availability.
What should I do if my instructor hasn't responded within one day?
If you purchased a current Premium edition, first check the response schedule and instructor day off stated in the course or organizational lesson. If the response window has passed, contact us at [email protected]. Auditor/self-study does not include individual feedback unless expressly stated.
What happens when Premium is not offered or no Premium cohort runs?
If Premium is not offered or no Premium cohort runs, the Auditor/self-study edition proceeds according to the course page. Individual instructor feedback is not included unless it was explicitly offered and purchased.
Can I share a course with a friend?
No, sharing a course with a friend is strictly prohibited as it violates our terms and conditions. When you purchase a course, access is granted only to the individual buyer.
Can I upgrade to Premium after purchasing an Auditor Spot?
An upgrade is possible only while the course page and checkout actively offer Premium, registration is open, and capacity remains. Contact [email protected] before buying a second option so the team can confirm availability.
What equipment do I need as a Premium participant?
When Premium is offered, equipment requirements are stated on the course page. Typical requirements are a phone or camera, a stable tripod, internet access, and any course-specific training equipment listed on the page.
I haven't received the registration email. What should I do?
Please check your junk mail or spam folder for the registration email. If you can’t find it there, feel free to contact us at [email protected] or reach out to us via Facebook private message.
How do I enroll in a course?
Open the course page and review the edition or editions, dates, access, feedback, and price currently shown. Choose one of the options actually available at checkout, sign in or create your Tromplo account, and complete payment.
How often will Premium users receive feedback from the instructor?
When Premium is offered, feedback follows the response schedule stated on that course page and in the organizational lesson. Some instructors have one non-feedback day each week. Auditor/self-study does not include individual feedback unless expressly stated.
How many videos can I send to my instructor per week?
Video allowance is product-specific. When a Premium course page states a weekly 12-minute limit, that limit applies during its feedback window. Other Premium offers may differ. Auditor/self-study does not include video review unless expressly stated.
